Microsoft asp.net framework is used to deliver the web content for this site. The
asp.net language provides the power needed for this distributed and highly scalable
application.
Although the architecture of this site will function on ether Microsoft Sql or MySql
databases, MySql is the databases are used in the production environment.
Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings,
objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.
Security is important to us. We use Smoothwall for security the network. I've been
using Smoothwall for years and love the community continues to make the product
